We have a requirement for several Vessel Traffic Monitoring Operators (VTMO) based in Den Helder, the Netherlands. The VTMO will monitor all marine traffic in the vicinity of our customers offshore assets using several data information systems and marine communications. They will make contact with any marine traffic potentially intruding platform safety zones and contact customers, installations and Coastguard as deemed necessary. The successful candidate will be the key interface between the delivery team, offshore installations, vessels and Coastguard to prevent any such incidents occuring.


The successful candidate will have a VHF radio certificate (MarCom B) and electronic chart display (ENS or ECDIS) experience, knowledge of Marine standard vocabulary and a good understanding of the English language are also required.


Basic knowledge of North Sea traffic separation systems and comon traffic patterns  in the North Sea would be advantageous.


This is not a hybrid working role and will be based in the office. Working hours will cover 24/7, exact shift pattern is to be decided (rotating schedule including night and weekend shifts).
