An exciting opportunity has arisen at Control Union Certifications in Bangkok, Thailand.

As a Textile & Recycling Auditor you will be responsible for verification of environmental, product, recycling and social requirements against established standards and protocols. Standards you will be working on include Global Recycling Standard (GRS), Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), Organic Content Standard (OCS), Recycling Content Standard (RCS) and the Ocean Bound Plastic standard (OBP). The position requires strong communication skills. Applicants must have good knowledge of the textile industry. You will be initiating and conducting on site audit activities at our clients. You will be responsible for the document review as well as preparing and distributing your audit findings in an audit report. As a textile auditor you will work closely together with an international team.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Prepare audit plan and communicate with clients
• Perform document reviews
• Conduct onsite audits against established standards
• Prepare and submit the audit report
• Follow up with clients for corrective actions
• Maintaining good relations with the clients

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or higher in textile technology or textile manufacturing (or a related study)
• Minimal 4 years working experience in environmental management/research would be an added advantage
• Good English and Thai communicaiton skills, both writing and speaking
• Proficient in MS Office
• Able to work as team player and to execute audits individually
