A Team Lead opportunity has arisen at our Heysham facility.

The position will be required to support the site supervisors & management at all times whilst continuing to perform all normal warehouse & quayside duties. Be able to maintain a strong focus on safety and set a good example for other operatives to follow. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supervising and leading a duty crew ‘out of hours’, support the daily allocation of resources to specific jobs and assist in the control of any contractors onsite (Permit to Work).

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of warehousing processes and procedures, and be familiar with safe systems of work (SSOW) such as Toolbox Talk & Task Risk Assessment. In addition, experience of FLT and lifting operations would be an advantage although all training requirements will be provided. Previous experience of supervising or leading a team is essential.
