As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for developing tools for the company. The position requires strong communication skills and being up to date with the latest software Developing tools, new technologies and innovative with solving problems in connection with your work is critical to the successful delivery of this position.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Application development for the full lifecycle of software
• Software development, modeling, simulation, testing, and quality assurance
• Object-oriented design
• Analysis of user requirements, software, and code
• Completing systems risk and reliability analysis
• Object-oriented analysis
• Monitoring systems performance
• Perform maintenance and software integrations for existing systems
• Maintain systems by monitoring and correcting software defects
• Identify and assess new technologies prior to implementation
• Research, design and write new software programs
• Integrate existing software products and get incompatible platforms to work together
• Create technical specifications

Requirements

• A relevant Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related area
• 2 years strong industry experience in Java web development is a must
• Highly proficient in Java, Spring, Hibernate with front-end frameworks (jQuery, React JS, Angular JS)
• Strong knowledge of OOP principles, design patterns and best practices is a must
• Experience on REST API development and integration
• Knowledge of SharePoint, Azure would be an added advantage
• Knowledge of Mobile App development would be an added advantage
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Ability to work within deadlines individually and as a team
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Innovative and forward thinking
