An exciting and varied position has arisen for an Operations Assistant to support the Shetland Management Team with the control of operations including job planning/administration, assisting in the coordination of resources, and supporting project work.

Primarily office based but with a requirement to be onsite at times to support our operations team and customers/clients with services requests. There will be a requirement to join the operations on call rota covering out of hours and weekends.

Day to day duties will include but not limited to general office activities including customer liaison, administration duties, assisting Team Lead and supervisors with the planning and scheduling of client plant and labour requests, Job control and tracking. Assisting in the preparation of daily works and ensuring job packs and paperwork are prepared for supervisors and filed upon completion of works.

Applicants should be motivated, adaptable, and outgoing, be able to prioritise and cope with competing demands and be flexible in a fast moving, changeable and exciting environment. Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word are essential. Applicants must be able to demonstrate attention to detail, good administration skills, communication, and excellent customer service.

Must hold a Full UK drivers Licence.
