A vacancy has arisen for a Marine Technical Advisor who will provide an efficient, effective and quality driven service delivery from the Marine Department and to assist in the development of Marine Technical services with existing and new clients.

Roles and Responsbilities

Responsibilities include acting as a client representative and designated onshore emergency contact for vessels in the North Sea, whilst ensuring best service and maintaining client satisfaction. You will provide assurance for chartered vessels ensuring high standards of safety and operational excellence is maintained through vessel audits, surveys and inspections.


Applicants will have a minimum STCW 95 II/1 certificate of competency and preferably a full DPO certificate. Experience as Deck or Engineering Officer is also required. Experience in a similar role, OVID inspector and e-CMID accreditation would be advantageous.
