We are looking for someone with a passion for the development of people to join our HR team. The aim of the role is to find and deliver learning and development solutions which support our business goals and career aspirations of our diverse and talented workforce. It will include acting as the focal point for development schemes including mentoring, succession and talent. It is also about creating solutions to drive learning.
To be successful in the role you will be able to demonstrate your enthusiasm for end to end development of people. You will be familiar with succession and talent management tools and strategies and be able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. We are looking for someone with a bit of know how who is creative, self-driven and curious about emerging trends and technologies which could make development all the more easier and exciting. You will need to influence people to take steps which may put them out of their comfort zone and do a little policing of committed development plans. Confident communication is therefore essential. We will be looking to you to be our expert, supporting our people on the path to success. This may mean we need to invest in developing you so you can support the development of others. An empathic side will be very useful too as things don’t always go to plan.
