As an Auditor for FSC (Forest Stewardship Council), you will be responsible for the application of implementation of sustainable production practices, which is designed to be used by industries handling wood and paper products.
FSC certification is given to companies and organizations working on "appropriate forest management", which was established for the purpose of sustainable use and conservation of forests, if they meet the criteria along its standards. This allows consumers to choose products from companies and organizations that deal with sustainable wood products.
The position requires strong communication. Applicants must have good knowledge of the forest/wood/paper industry. You will be initiating and conducting on site audit activities at our clients. You will be responsible for the document review as well as preparing and distributing your audit findings in an audit report.
