An exciting opportunity has arisen at Control Union USA's inspections division for the position of EXECUTION & OPERATIONS COORDINATOR.

As an Execution & Operations Coordinator for Bulk Cargo business line service you will have a broad role where you can further develop yourself as well as this business.

The purpose of this role is to serve our clients in the best possible manner by coordinating, performing and delivering Quality Control services and informing them with the right updates and quality reports as per nomination, in a timely manner.

Your role also includes the portfolio of the coordinating loading/discharge inspections, sampling and testing services for a variety of commodities such as agri bulk, veg oils, minerals, fertilizers and biomass, biofuels.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • To provide the highest possible service towards our customers in line with the company quality and management guidelines
  • Planning, coordination, quality assurance and execution of the inspections
  • To build and expand customer relationships of current portfolio
  • To ensure all administrative tasks are performed in a timely manner
  • To ensure the best communication and collaboration with clients, other departments/offices and stakeholders
  • Maintaining and managing content of the work instructions, protocols, training documents, reporting formats, etc.
  • Supervising and supporting the transition towards a digitally based service/system
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and procedures
  • Ensure developing business activity

Requirements

  • Expertise in the cargo inspection, sampling and testing protocols FGIS, GAFTA, FOSFA, ISO and other industry standards
  • Logistical experience and/or academic background a plus
  • Agricultural experience and/or academic background a plus
  • Ability to identify opportunities for growth and efficiencies in our service offerings
  • Experience in the trainings of others and quality systems (e,g, protocols, standards)
  • Fluent in English and Spanish is a plus
  • Standard office hours are 9 to 5; flexibility required
  • Rotating weekend on-call, one weekend every 5 to 6 weeks
  • Critical thinking, negotiation skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving mentality and result oriented personality
