A vacancy has arisen for a Cargo Inspector at out Aberdeen Quayside. The Cargo Inspector is responsible for carrying out the cargo inspection process and procedure in accordance with legislative requirements and company policy. They will complete daily and monthly checks and complete log sheets associated with lifting equipment and documentation.

They will be responsible of inspecting shipping cargo and final visual inspection of cargo prior to load to ensure compliance and quality assurance, and will have overall control of the quality assurance procedures.

The ability to demonstrate previous knowledge and experience of cargo operations, including loading and unloading vessels is required. The ideal candidate should hold a valid Opito Banksman Slinger certificate, a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and IT skills and Dangerous Goods by Sea would also be desirable.
